ABOUT ANDREW HORNER

 

 

My name is Andrew Horner and I'm 17 years old (at the time of writing this anyway). My hobbies involve playing Futsal, making music, and graphic design. I've been playing the drums since I was about 7 and finished my grade 8 a few years ago and since then have been teaching myself to play piano and guitar. I also sing in a barbershop at school with a few of my friends which is a lot of fun. 'm very passionate about music and would probably be pursuing that if it wasn't for my interest in graphic design.

 

My passion for graphic design stemmed from making a YouTube channel a long time ago. I had to make a logo for myself, so I did. And I really enjoyed it. So I put up a video saying that I would make people YouTube logos for free (which ended up being quite popular) and since then I have created over 300 logos for YouTubers, two posters for different theatrical performances (along with flyers) and a logo for an amatuer film production company. I'm excited to further my learning of the craft in a university environment.
